Gentle Leader^® should be worn whenever you want to prevent leash pulling, lunging, barking and other unwanted behaviors outside the house. When you want to be prepared to prevent any unwanted behavior in the house such a jumping and barking (and achieve the desired attitude adjustment!), it may be worn 14 - 18 hours a day (along with an indoor drag line or a pull tab) during the training period, but do take it off each night like a pair of shoes. Gentle Leader^® may also be worn to help prevent/control a wide range of unwanted behaviors whenever you feel these problems are likely to occur.
